Subject: Cant believe that we only get 32% uptime out of our roadlaying gangs
Having looked at the figures in the Work & Waste teachpoint, i am surprised by how low our productivity or uptime is. I ran a workshop using the teachpoint with my supervisors and found that we were only utilising our machines 32% of the time and even some of this could be regarded as non value adding. Anybody (road building) got any better performance and would be willing to give their contact details, so i can discuss daily management and logistic techniques.
