Subject: How to create an effective project environment
Thought people may be interested in some good project management software: www.37signals.com, and then click on the basecamp link. Basically this is software designed to help people project manage and control the complex amount of information and communication that goes between members of a project team. This stuff has been around for years, but used to be quite expensive, this one however is cheap and simple. My company are going to start using this for all our projects by setting up a new project on the system each time. Let me know what you think or if you have a better system

Completely agree - Basecamp is something we use all the time to great effect, it has everything you need and is very user friendly. It means everyone can have a look and keep up with whats going on and the project manager can set and notify tasks quite easily - true collaborative working. As for the cost next to nothing.......but always looking for other possibilities
